Needed: appliance repairman referral

Hi, does anyone have an appliance handyman that they could recommend.  I occasionally have trouble with refrigerators, dishwashers, etc., and my handyman contractors don't always have the tools/know-how to do this work.

    Thanks for the help,

Jesus, This is not a referral for a handyman, but a more general recommendation to use a Home Warranty if you don't already have one.  American Home Shield, Old Republic, and others are reputable companies that will send repair people that are associated with them.   I know this doesn't directly address your question, but it's still a money saving idea.

I agree with Robin 100%.  Although they do not pay 100% of all repairs and they fight you many times on what they do repair they can save you alot of money, expecialy on older homes for plumbing, electrical and heating and air conditioning.  Just read the coverages closely so you understand what they cover.

    Jesus,

In my experience it has been better to just replace the appliance.  The cost of labor is just to high with service companies.  If the appliance is less than a year old call the 1800# and the company will send someone out at no cost.
