    Jack is a HIGHLY competent builder AND investor and does a significant amount of rehabs in the area. 

    You should also talk to Blake Johnson with Finishing Touches Remodeling. They help sponsor the club and do about 200+ rehabs in the Metroplex each year.

    Call me if you have any questions about rehabbing (except the weekend of Nov3 & 4th; that's when I'm teaching the workshop on how to successfully rehab houses in the Metroplex as an investor).

    What kind of contractor(s) do you need? Framers, roofers, handymen? What is the description / scope of the work? (small / huge job - best quality / fastest / cheapest)

    I am looking for an investor friendly general contractor capable of the a full rehab. Cost is always a concern, but I consider quality of work, trustworthiness, and experience more of a factor. I do not mind paying for quality. 

    I have searched the forum and found recommendations, but they all seem to be primarily in the "FW" of DFW. I am looking for someone in Dallas/East Dallas.

    Just stumbled on this site yesterday and have literally spent hours here. Very helpful information.

    I'd check with Blake Johnson first at finishingtouchesremodeling.com. If he can't / won't, then I believe these guys ( http://www.jntdevelopers.com ) will do what you want done.

    I also think I'd call HomeVestors ( http://www.dfw.homevestors.com ) and see if you can rent of their crews.

    If you still have trouble, or don't like what you find, contact me and we can talk about it. I might know where you can rent another crew.

    My general contractor, Phil Loesch, does whole-house rehabs, and he works properties in Dallas whenever he gets a request.


    Phil has done many jobs for me, from rental make-readys to full-scale remodels on a high-end home (appraised at $342k) in Keller, and many other jobs in between.
