I am new to real-estate investment. I am interested in getting GUIDANCE about purchasing multi-family 4 plex units or small apartment complexes. Is there a check list, a guide, what are some quick thing to think about.

I am looking for these in the general DFW area.

    Thanks for any guidance.

There's a TON of things to consider.  For now, I'll just say that cash flow is more of a determining value of property with multi-family properties than with single-family houses.  We're planning on having more commercial real estate topics/speakers at our meetings in the near future, so stay tuned.

    Dave,

Robin Carriger is very humble and rarely ever toots his own horn. That means it's up to the rest of us to do it for him.

If you are looking for high quality, low cost guidance (mentoring) on how to do small rentals profitably, I STRONGLY suggest you contact him personally and ask him to mentor you. It's RARE to find someone who has been in this business as long as he had, with his depth of knowledge and experieince, who is ALSO still willing to bend over backwards to help his students.

    Best regards,
