    Hello all,

I'm a rookie investor in North Texas.  I understand all the concepts and most of the legalities with the Real Estate Investment business, but now I need to start getting down to the nitty gritty and I have a few questions for ya'll.

    1.  What is a good resource to find all the forms, contracts, lease agreements, etc...for conducting the business.

    2.  Does anyone have any recommendations for a Real Estate attorney and CPA in the Wichita Falls area?

    Many thanks,

     Will

Hi Will, I don't believe there is a single source for ALL of the forms, contracts, etc.  It depends on what kind of real estate deal you want to do.  I have a few different CDs that contain lots of forms, agreements, contracts, etc. that I use for Wholesaling, Short Sales, Landlording, etc.  If you'd like to give me a call at 817-300-1132, I'll be happy to talk with you.

    Will,

If you are looking for rental forms I am a big fan of the Texas Apartment Association leases and forms, these are very detailed and complete forms written by lawyers that follow Texas law and have been tested in court. It's not exactly cheap though, you need to pay an annual membership fee of about $205 + $2.01 per unit to use the forms, but in my opinion it is worth it.

If you will go to http://www.reimentor.com and look here (http://reimentor.com/free-investor-resources/free-real-estate-investment-forms-and-spreadsheets), there are a few free resources available for you. If you choose to register (free), then you can go look under Member Resources and many of the forms you will need / use are available there for free download.

    Hope that helps!
